Stay Connected: Your Guide to the Parent Portal & App

The Parent Portal is your one-stop shop for staying engaged with your student’s education. Whether you are checking grades on the go or paying fees from your phone, this convenient platform puts essential school information right at your fingertips.

What can you do in the Parent Portal?

• Track Progress: View student schedules, grades, report cards and assessment results.

• Manage Attendance: Check attendance records and report upcoming absences.

• Handle School Business: Pay fees, add funds to lunch accounts and sign permission forms.

• Update Information: Keep your emergency contact details current.

New Feature: View Assessment Results

Families can now access a convenient snapshot of student test scores directly in the portal! This tool is designed to help you better understand and monitor your child’s academic progress throughout the year. Results are now available for:

• National Assessments: SAT, ACT and AP
• State Assessments: OST, OELPA and AASCD
• Local Assessments: NWEA MAP and Acadience

How to find it: Log in and select your student, then click the Menu icon (three horizontal lines, top left) > More > Assessments. (Note: If you have questions about specific test results, please contact your student’s teacher or building principal.)

Coming Soon: Medicaid Consent Form

In the coming weeks, the District will release a Medicaid In the Schools consent form to all families via the Parent Portal. Please note: This form is for ALL students, regardless of whether your family currently qualifies for Medicaid.

Signing this form permits GJPS to seek Medicaid reimbursement for schools that provide school-based therapy services to students.  Once the form is published in the portal, you can easily sign it electronically to grant permission, or decline it if you prefer not to share your student's information.

Prefer to use your phone? Download the Campus Parent app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app includes the exact same features as the web version, plus a major bonus: you can enable real-time alerts to receive instant push notifications the moment new grades or attendance records are posted!

How to Access the Web Portal You can also log in anytime from a computer by visiting portal.gjps.org. Just click the Portal Login button, and then select Campus Parent.

Who can use the Parent Portal?

Accounts are available for all parents and legal guardians. Guardianship and parental rights are determined by the GJPS Welcome Center based on the documents submitted during your student's enrollment.

How to Sign Up & Get Your Access Key

To ensure security, Parent Portal accounts are assigned to individuals and should not be shared. Each Parent/Guardian should have their own individual login attached to their own personal email.

When your student is first enrolled at GJPS, an activation key is sent to the email address you provided. (Please check your spam folder if you don't see it; these automated messages come from gahanna-jefferson-schools@gahannajeffersonoh.mg.infinitecampus.org.)

Coming Soon! This fall, we will be sending access key reminder emails to parents and guardians who have an email address on file but have not yet set up an active portal account.

To create your account:

1. Go to portal.gjps.org and click Portal Login, then Campus Parent.
2. Click the New User link.
3. Paste in your activation key and follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.

If you ever run into trouble, click the Portal Help button at portal.gjps.org. There you will find helpful access tips and a link to our Portal Help Form. Requests sent through this form go directly to our technology staff and are typically resolved within 1 to 2 business days.

Pro-Tip: Never Miss an Update! To ensure you continue receiving important emails and phone calls from your child’s school, regularly check your contact information. You can update your phone number and email address by clicking the User Icon in the upper right corner of the Parent Portal, selecting Settings and going to Contact Preferences.
